Pakistan International Airways
Boeing 777-240LR
AP-BGY (cn 33781/504)
4th April 2007
Manchester Ringway Airport (MAN)
Comment / Pakistan International Airways took delivery of two Boeing 777-200LRs last year, giving the carrier some 8865nm (16417km) of range to play with! Here, a low shutter speed during a cloudy spell nicely captures the touchdown of the older of the two aircraft, AP-BGY. PIA operates a sizeable fleet of eight Boeing 777s, with four series -200ERs and two series -300ERs also currently on strength.
bmi
Airbus A330-243
G-WWBB (cn 404)
4th April 2007
Manchester Ringway Airport (MAN)
Comment / A regular sight at Manchester, bmi A330 G-WWBB lands on runway 06R from Chicago O'Hare. Sadly, it seems that it is only a matter of time before the pending EU/US Open Skies agreement lures bmi to transfer its A330s to Heathrow - it's no secret that that's what they bought them for!
British Airways
Boeing 757-236
G-CPES (cn 29114/793)
4th April 2007
Manchester Ringway Airport (MAN)
Comment / The first of the day's shuttle services from London Heathrow arrives at Manchester with a stream of touchdown smoke for good measure. G-CPES is now one of just 13 Boeing 757-200s left in the British Airways fleet, joining the airline in March 1998.
Pakistan International Airways
Boeing 777-240ER
AP-BHX (cn 35296/613)
4th April 2007
Manchester Ringway Airport (MAN)
Comment / The new PIA regional tails look even better courtesy of some superb early morning sunlight! AP-BHX is a new Boeing 777-200ER for the airline (delivered just a month ago) and is no doubt flying overtime at the moment whilst the rest of PIA's long haul fleet is banned from EU airspace.

Boeing 767-319ER
G-CEFG (cn 26264/555)
4th April 2007
Manchester Ringway Airport (MAN)
Comment / G-CEFG arrives on one of a growing number of Flyglobespan services from Manchester. It will, of course, soon depart the UK and join Air India on lease for six months, with a pair of Neos Boeing 767s due to cover for Flyglobespan in the meantime.

Comment / Qatar Airways now fly into Manchester daily with a mixture of A330 series -200s and -300s. A7-ACD was an early delivery back in March 2003, with their A330 fleet now totalling 28 frames.
