TC-SGH (cn 28068/036)
4th June 2009
Newcastle Woolsington Airport (NCL)
Comment / TC-SGH arrives at Newcastle on the same day that its major client, tour operator Scottravel, ceased trading. It is not yet clear whether Saga's charter services to Newcastle will continue as planned for the rest of the summer. This particular flight was combined with a service from Glasgow, for example. TC-SGH is an early Next Generation 737, previously with Air Berlin as D-ABAN.

G-KKEV (cn 4201)
24th October 2008
Newcastle Woolsington Airport (NCL)
Comment / G-KKEV was unveiled on 3rd July at Newcastle Airport, and named Kevin Keegan in honour of the Newcastle United Football Club manager. A large sticker of man himself in his heyday as a Newcastle player was applied to the port side, with a black nose cone added just a couple of months later after Keegan 'left' his post!

19th May 2008
Newcastle Woolsington Airport (NCL)
Comment / Wearing a large sticker promoting Thomas Cook's campaign for another bank holiday here in the UK. I can remember when this Boeing 757 was first delivered from Seattle as the first aircraft for the new Flying Colours Airlines, back in February 1997. Of course, Flying Colours was later merged with Caledonian Airways to become JMC Air, which then became Thomas Cook Airlines in 2003.

Comment / Not too long after this shot was taken, D-AGPQ lost her bright green DBA Fussball livery to that of her new employer, the ever-expanding Air Berlin.

Dornier 328-300JET
OE-LJR (cn 3213)
29th August 2006
London Luton Airport (LTN)
Comment / This Dornier 328JET looks as though it's flying on rock and roll business at the moment - note the recently applied Pearl Jam stickers on the engine nacelle.

EI-CSA (cn 29916/210)
18th July 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / The original Ryanair 737-800. Delivered back in March 1999 in the classic Ryanair livery, she now wears the updated colours and winglets, with additional "Scotland - Welcome to our life" titles. With over one hundred more 737-800s delivered since her arrival she is still going strong, but in true Ryanair cost-cutting style, she will be returned to her lesser during late 2007 and replaced by new build aircraft.
