Comment / LY-AZW is the first Lithuanian Airlines 737-500 to be repainted into the colours of new owners FlyMe. She is seen here on finals for Stansted on the morning service from Gothenburg.

Comment / My first shot of FlyMe at Stansted - after launching flights to Gothenburg last week - and what timing! With a couple of heavy rain cells around the airfield (delaying most departures for up to 45 mins) a number of rainbows appeared, including this one - one of the brightest and most spectacular rainbows I've ever seen.

Comment / Like most Boeing 737 Classics, SE-RCO has been round the block a few times since her first flight in 1987. She actually started out in Britain as G-OUTA with British Midland, but moved on to Aeromaritime as F-GFUA in 1988. Retaining a French identity for no less than 16 years, she went on to fly for Air Afrique, Australian Airlines and Air France also, before joining her present employer in 2004.
