Comment / G-ASGC was first delivered to BOAC in January 1965 and later joined the new British Airways, before being retired from service in October 1979. She flew to Duxford the following April, after a flying career of 54623 hours with 16414 landings.

Comment / G-AOVT was the last Britannia in service with Monarch Airlines, and was donated to the Duxford Aviation Society in 1975. She was first delivered to BOAC on New Years Day 1959.

Comment / MAXjet launched services to Stansted two days ago, but only today did the weather allow for a decent photo! MAXjet are operating a daily B767-200 flight to New York JFK, with an all-business class cabin. N770WD is seen here arriving in a fantastic livery!

Comment / Good to see something other than the two Flyglobespan B737-600s at Stansted. Having launched flights to Tenerife on Tuesday, a variety of GSM aircraft are now passing through Stansted, including this series -300, appropriately registered G-GSPN.

Comment / G-AVMU is one of the 'newer' exibits at Duxford, arriving on 4th March 1993 after being retired from British Airways service the previous year. She logged 40279 hours and 45540 landings in the time after her delivery to BEA on 19th March 1969.
