Comment / Atlas Air are currently operating a 747-200F out of Stansted on behalf of British Airways World Cargo, complimenting the three 747-400Fs of Global Supply Systems. It is a controversial arrangement though, with many other British cargo operators claiming that the BA contract should be fulfilled by a British registered airline and aircraft. N528MC is seen here arriving from Atlanta.

Comment / One of the first shots of this new operator and their MD-83 which entered service last month. The aircraft is actually operated by a Greek airline called SkyWings under the UK Jet name predominantly for Excel Airways (note the XL.com logo) and is seen here flying for Ford Air!

Comment / Air Atlantique are due to start a twice daily service between Stansted and Jersey on the 27th May, with ATR-42s flying under the name of Atlantic Express. Yet to be painted, G-RHUM positioned down from Coventry this morning and flew a rotation to Jersey, presumably on some kind of route proving or crew training sortie.
