Comment / In addition to their long-standing service to Guernsey, Aurigny have recently announced a new service from Stansted to Jersey, starting 1st May. They have also recently taken delivery of two new ATR-72-500s, though unfortunately an older series -200 was timetabled for flight to Guernsey on this occasion.

Newcastle Woolsington Airport (NCL)
Comment / The Emirates flight 35 from Dubai heads over the top for Newcastle's runway 25, with a sprinkling of snow on the ground lighting up her belly.
easyJet
Airbus A319-111
G-EZPG (cn 2385)
6th February 2009
Newcastle Woolsington Airport (NCL)
Comment / Arriving into Newcastle as the EZY8006, which probably indicates she was positioning in on an unscheduled flight - perhaps easyJet are still having to fill gaps in the schedule following this week's snow disruption in the UK?

Comment / After less than two hours on the ground, 9M-XAB lines up on Stansted's runway 05 in the fading evening light for the long haul back to Kuala Lumpur. The aircraft's livery features the Malaysian flag on the port winglet, and the Union Jack on the other.
