29th May 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / It is unusual to see UPS operating in daylight hours at Stansted - although most days normally see a 767-300F day stopper on the cargo ramp, for much of the year flights operate under the cover of darkness. The long summer evenings obviously make a big difference, with N305UP seen here departing runway 05 in beautiful evening light as the UPS238 to Louisville at 2040 local time.

Comment / G-GSSC arrives back at Stansted from Houston with her reverse thrust kicking up some spray as she passes the SR Technics diamond hangar.

25th May 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / A nice surprise arrival just after 8pm at Stansted yesterday as SV7049 - although with some tricky lighting conditions in play! The setting sun had disappeared behind a bank of low haze by this point, but the result is not too bad never the less.

25th May 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / Having worn a series of special liveries and titles in it's time with Norwegian, LN-KKR currently advertises the airline's routes for skiing breaks in Turin, Salzburg and Geneva.
WDL Aviation (opf Air Berlin)
British Aerospace BAe 146-300
D-AWBA (cn E3134)
25th May 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / A WDL Aviation BAe 146 has been operating for Air Berlin into Stansted regularly over the last few weeks. Of course, it is a setup that D-AWBA knows well - three years ago WDL were contracted to operate a number of 146s between Stansted and Moenchengladbach in full Air Berlin colours.

Comment / Now no longer with the Tirol stickers on the right hand side...

Comment / The large Emirates logo on the underside of this 777-300ER is clearly visible in this shot.
