21st June 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / F-GRSN arrives from Cologne having been operating to Stansted on behalf of Germanwings all day. Star Airlines was recently bought out by the Avion Group and it seems that titles have been scrubbed out as a result. Might a new identity be on the way?

London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / With the introduction of Airbuses at easyJet's Glasgow and Edinburgh bases, A319s have taken over the Scotland - Stansted schedules. G-EZAO is seen arriving here from Edinburgh, an aircraft delivered band new last month.

London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / Not the greatest of photos with some clutter in the foreground, but still good to see another Boeing 727 gracing the tarmac at Stansted, this one being of 1983 vintage. Saudi Oger is the name of a construction company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Comment / Perhaps the best logojet of them all? D-AKNO arrives from Stuttgart in the special Berlin Bearbus scheme, near to sunset in some stunning light. This A319 starting out flying in the States as N727UW with US Airways, before joining the ever-growing fleet of Germanwings in the Spring of 2005.
