Boeing 737-8EC (BBJ2)
A6-MRM (cn 32450/787)
18th July 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / Arriving on runway 05 as 'Dubai 5', just two minutes behind the Triple Seven N777AS during a very busy evening for Middle Eastern traffic at Stansted.
Air Berlin
Boeing 737-85F
D-ABBR (cn 28825/188)
18th July 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / It's unusual to see an Air Berlin 737-800 without winglets these days...
KTHY Cyprus Turkish Airlines

TC-KTC (cn 1451)
18th July 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / TC-KTC arrives from Izmir as YK937.

Atlantic Express
Aérospatiale ATR-42-300
G-DRFC (cn 007)
12th July 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / Atlantic Express' services from Stansted to Jersey are now in full swing, with two daily ATR-42 flights. Seen here arriving at Stansted is G-DRFC - previously the 'tropical' bmi Regional ATR, incidentally.
Blue1
McDonnell Douglas MD-90-30
OH-BLC (cn 53459/2141)
12th July 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / OH-BLC is the second MD-90 to join Blue1, transferring over from SAS where she previously flew as LN-ROA. A third MD-90 will join the fleet before the end of the summer.
Untitled (Execujet Scandinavia)
Bombardier BD-700 Global Express

Czech Airlines
Boeing 737-5H6
OK-XGW (cn 26446/2358)
30th June 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / CSA Czech Airlines continue to serve Stansted faithfully with two daily services from Prague. Whereas most of CSA's 737s were delivered brand new to the airline, OK-XGW has a slightly more interesting history, having previously flown with Malaysia Airlines and Air France.
SkyEurope Airlines
Boeing 737-5Y0
OM-SEF (cn 25185/2220)
2nd July 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)

London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / One of the many older Ryanair 737-800s that are now buzzing around with winglets...
United Parcel Service
Boeing 767-34AF
N325UP (cn 27751/726)
21st June 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / There was nothing unusual about N325UP's approach, but the angle of the photo and a small gust of wind perhaps adds a little drama to this shot!
FedEx Express
McDonnell Douglas MD-11F
N580FE (cn 48471/558)
21st June 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Nordic Leisure
McDonnell Douglas MD-87
SE-RBA (cn 49403/1404)
21st June 2006
London Stansted Airport (STN)
Comment / Nordic Leisure are a regular sight at Stansted these days, with a based MD-83 operating for Excel Airways, and their sole MD-87 seen here subbing in on the evening Blue1 flight from Helsinki.

Comment / Either N777AS has recently been fitted with a new pair of engines - note those blue exhaust cones - or it is still one of the most under-utilized aircraft around!
