Comment / One of four A300-600Rs in service with Monarch, G-OJMR arrives at sunset on Manchester's runway 05R. Rumour has it that the A300s will be remaining on with Monarch a little while longer than originally planned, to compensate for the late delivery of Boeing 787s.

Comment / A rarer visitor to Newcastle, this Monarch A300 arrived on a trooping charter yesterday tea time, from Akrotiri in Cyprus. As you can see, her arrival sadly did not coincide with any decent sunlight!

Comment / EI-OZA is one of three Air Contractors Airbus A300s which are seen at Stansted on weekday evenings, feeding for FedEx. This example started out as SX-BEG with Olympic Airways in 1981, before joining L'Aeropostale as a freight hauler in 1999. She still flies in the basic colours of the French carrier, despite joining her present employer Air Contractors some five years ago, in April 2002.
