Comment / A welcome BBJ visitor to Stansted just before sunset yesterday. Although it wears an American registration, sources elsewhere on the web indicate a Saudi Arabian operator.

Comment / Slowing down on Luton's runway 08 after touching down from Tel Aviv.

Comment / An ERJ-135BJ Legacy which I last photographed in September 2005 flying as OE-IWP.

Comment / They don't come much sleeker than this!

Comment / Making its way into Stansted at dawn on another misty morning in East Anglia.

Comment / Nice colours but not many clues as to who this Learjet flies for...

Comment / Lockheed Tristar G-IOIT has been on the ground at Stansted since the collapse of Classic Airways, a short-lived charter carrier based at the airfield during the late 1990s. Classic managed to operate another Tristar, G-IOII, in a smart green and white colour scheme , but this one never made it - British World Airlines pulled the plug on their AOC due to worrying technical problems with the ageing Tristars in August 1998. Both aircraft were grounded indefinitely at Stansted as a result; G-IOII was scrapped on site during 2000, but G-IOIT soldiers on to this day as the BAA airport tug trainer.

Comment / I wonder if Sir Alan was onboard?

Comment / Great scheme on this one, but I'm struggling to work out what it portrays? Delivered only in March earlier this year and seen departing here to Catania.

Comment / Having arrived from Florence an hour earlier, this Learjet was soon back on the runway again leaving for Nice.

Comment / This Boeing 727-200 was a surprise arrival during a gloomy spell at Stansted - she is ex. 9K-AFA of Kuwait Airways and is now registered to Wilmington Trust Co Trustee.

Comment / Seen moments before landing on runway 26, N94LT arrives at Luton from Frankfurt.

Comment / OE-INC is a new Global 5000, delivered to Vienna-based Global Jet Austria in April 2006. She wears a waving cheat line along her fuselage which must be painted in a special metallic paint of sorts, as it changes colour from blue to purple depending on where you look at it! She is seen here in a high flare before touching down on runway 26 at Luton. It's a shame the sun didn't want to play game too...
